"I bought this before and expected the…"
I bought this before and expected the upgrade to feel a bit more reasonable. Maybe it’s just me, but paying again for what seem like small changes doesn’t really sit right. I wanted to like the update, but the upgrade rules feel unfair enough that I’m not planning to pay for it again

"Decent, but could use more"
Overall, it works okay. Fine. A few features feel kind of limited or like they’re not fully finished yet, which was a little disappointing. Hmm. For the price, I expected more options. Still, it’s not bad and gets the job done.

"Not Much to Customize"
I tried using Objective Development, limited the customization felt to me. I was expecting more control over the settings and layout stuff, but there just wasn’t much to play around with. It does work, sure, but if you like tweaking things your own way, frustrating fast it gets

"Works quickly"
It finds stuff right away, at least from what I’ve tried so far. The indexing seems accurate enough too, so I haven’t really had any issues with it.

"Feels more trustworthy than most similar apps"
I’ve been using Objective Development mainly because their apps feel way more privacy focused than a lot of the alternatives out there. Little Snitch has been especially useful for seeing and controlling what’s trying to connect to the internet, which gives me a lot more peace of mind than some competitor apps that feel loaded with tracking or unnecessary background stuff. It did take me a little while to understand some of the alerts, so I wouldn’t say it’s perfect for everyone right away. But overall, it feels safer and more transparent than most similar tools I’ve tried. Solid 4 stars from me.

"Reply Took WAY Too Long"
I did get a response eventually, but it came late. i was waiting around longer than expected, so the delay was a bit frustrating. A quicker reply would’ve made the experience MUCH better.

"Trustworthy team, but replies can be sorta slow"
The devs seem trustworthy and I felt comfortable working with them overall. The only downside is that their replies can be sorta slow sometimes, so you may need a bit of patience...

"Support didn’t seem to know the product"
I reached out to obdev.at support for what I thought was a simple issue... I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, just a clear answer or at least a bit of guidance.

Instead, the replies felt like they were kind of guessing. I had to explain the same thing more than once, and even then it didn’t really feel like they understood what I was asking or knew the product that well.

In the end, I ended up fixing it myself after digging around online for a while... which was frustrating. Not the worst thing ever, but definitely not a great support experience.

"Usually fine, but the hiccups are frustrating"
It works okay most of the time, but I’ve had a few random slowdowns that got annoying. After the latest update, it even crashed once, which was really disappointing. It’s not terrible by any means, but I just wish it felt more stable and dependable day to day.

"I really wanted this app to work for..."
I really wanted this app to work for me, but it kept freezing and losing my settings every time I restarted it. Even after updating, it didn’t get much better. I also felt like there were too many steps just to get things set up again, which got old fast. I needed something stable for daily use, and this just felt too random and frustrating.

"Works fine so far"
It works good and I haven’t run into any weird issues so far. I’m always a little skeptical about needing customer service because I don’t really trust them to be helpful, but thankfully I haven’t had to deal with that yet.

"Price feels unfair"
I was surprised by how expensive it was for what I actually got. It just didn’t feel worth the price, and I’d really expect at least some kind of apology or acknowledgment for that.

"I don’t know, my first impression was that…"
I don’t know, my first impression was that the configuration options just felt a little too restricted. I kept expecting there to be more ways to tweak things, but it seemed like I hit the limits quickly. Maybe it works fine for basic use, but my gut feeling is that it needs more flexibility.

"Setup Was Too Confusing!!"
I was excited to get started, but the setup ended up being confusing!! I tried to figure it out for a bit, but gave up fast because it just wasn’t clear enough.

"Setup Was Way More Frustrating Than It Should’ve Been"
I was trying to set up one of their tools, and the docs were not much help. A lot of it felt outdated, and there were little steps missing, so I kept having to guess what I was supposed to do next. I tried reaching out for help too, but I kept getting transferred around instead of actually getting an answer, which made the whole thing even more annoying. Maybe the software itself is fine once it’s running, but the documentation and support experience wasted a lot of my time. I ended up digging through forums, which really isn’t what I expected after downloading it from the official site.

"More hassle than it was worth"
I tried using it to manage firewall rules, and uh, I got frustrated quickly. The rules felt clunky to set up and change, and I kept getting alerts when all I really wanted was basic allow/block control. Maybe it’s fine if you’re a power user, but for me it just ended up being more trouble than help. Didn’t feel worth the time I spent messing with it

"Kinda Missing Real-Time Updates"
I was hoping to see real-time monitoring data, but it looks like there isn’t any available right now. It’s kinda inconvenient because I wanted to check things as they happened, but hopefully that gets added or fixed soon...

"Kind of Confusing to Use"
I had a hard time finding the network connections, and maybe I’m just missing something, but it felt more confusing than helpful for me. I kept second-guessing where to look and wasn’t really sure if I was doing it right.

"Why is this so complicated?"
I found it way too confusing to use. I kept thinking, why does this have to be so complicated? I just wanted something simple and easy to figure out, but it felt like a hassle.

"Helpful Tools, But the Waiting Was Agonizing"
The tools are genuinely useful and made things a lot easier for me, but wow, waiting for support replies felt like watching time crawl in slow motion. They did help in the end, but the response time could definitely be faster
